Demolition of this building, previously the headquarters for a Chicago bank franchise, began in April of 2021. Five Thirty One Partners built 42 residential units, primarily two-bedroom and two-bathroom, with common amenities such as a rooftop deck, a dog run, and a shared common area to act as additional leisure space. Due to the existing floor plate, the development features wider units with exposed and lofted ceilings as well as an entire additional third floor.
The building spans an entire city block, stretching from Normandy Ave. to Rutherford Ave. The first floor includes 10,000 square feet in addition to a lower level retail space consisting of a shared office business, barbershop, and an IT consulting company.
